Volkmann Ureteral Access Sheaths are used to establish a conduit during endoscopic urological procedures facilitating the passage of endoscopes and other instruments into the urinary tract.

Use of a UAS improves the flow of irrigation fluid and visualization within the ureter, reduces operative times and overall costs and improves the effectiveness of surgery

Product description

The Volkmann Ureteral Access Sheaths are provides ureteral dilation and a continuous working channel for the introduction of endoscopes and instruments during ureteral access procedures.

Sheath protects the ureter during repeated instrument exchanges, reducing the potential for trauma.
The continuous channel protects delicate instruments and the smaller, flexible scopes from damage, reducing costly repairs.
Reduce the pressure in kidney and reduce the risk of sepsis.
Hydrophilic coating on external sheath and dilator for easy insertion.
Smooth step between access sheath & dilator.
Funneled luer end for easy hand grip and suitability to fix in position.
Available in two types:
- Ureteral Access Sheaths with a latch fastener. Kink resistant sheath is reinforced with a stainless steel radiopaque coil.
  Size range: diameter 9.5/11.0 Fr, 12/14 Fr; length 24-52 cm.
- Ureteral Access Sheaths with twist lock. The expander is fixed in the casing by a rotating mechanism. Graduation lines along the entire length indicating the length of the product to control the insertion depth.
  Size range: diameter 10.0/12.0 Fr, 12.0/14.0 Fr, 14.0/16.0 Fr; length 20-55 cm.
