Product description

All Volkmann offers high quality single-use polyurethane ureteral catheters that provide excellent handling characteristics, proper flexibility and resistance to kinking. Ureteral catheters are available in a variety of sizes and tip configurations.

  • The plastic stylet, located inside the catheter, gives sufficient rigidity during its introduction.
  • Connector for connecting a syringe when injecting a contrast agent or taking a portion of urine.
  • Graduated scale along the entire length to indicate the depth of insertion.
  • The hydrophilic coating improves the sliding properties of the catheter, provides a comfortable and atraumatic insertion.
  • 8 handpiece types for every clinical situation:
    • Straight tip open or closed type, or olive-tip, for atraumatic insertion of the product into the ureter;
    • Conical tip of the Chevassus type for the introduction of contrast agents during surgical interventions;
    • Whistle-type tip, for quick removal of urine from the kidney;
    • J-tip open type for fixation in the kidney;
    • Curved open tip for quick and easy insertion.
  • Two types of catheter stiffness (yellow - soft, blue - hard).
